You don't have to worry about taking a taxi or getting stuck in traffic with a large luggage box. Walk south for 10 minutes to reach Jing'an Temple Station on Line 11 and Line 7. If you want to go to popular attractions such as Disneyland, Xujiahui, and World Expo Park, simply transfer to any line and you can get there directly without taking any detours. At the entrance of the hotel is the bus stop on Yan'an West Road, with over a dozen bus routes covering the entire city. When you don't want to squeeze into the subway, taking the bus leisurely and enjoying the street view is also a romantic experience unique to Shanghai.
The most outstanding thing is its walking friendliness. I hardly took public transportation in the past three days. Wearing sneakers slowly, I can finish the most essence of Jing'an. Go out and turn left for 5 minutes, then get into the shade of wutong trees on Yuyuan Road, stroll around literature and art shops and old western-style houses, and walk to Jing'an Temple for only 15 minutes. The incense of red walls and cornices mixed with the aroma of surrounding coffee, which was more comfortable than clocking in the crowd. Walk east along Yan'an West Road for 20 minutes and directly enter the commercial district of Nanjing West Road. You don't have to rush to visit Henglong or buy souvenirs. If you get tired, you can turn around and go back to the hotel to rest.
The food density around is even denser, and there will be surprises if you take two steps: you can walk three minutes to find the old restaurant of Benbang cuisine that has been open for more than ten years, and Braised pork belly with thick oil and red sauce will be served, which is the authentic flavor of old Shanghai; There are five or six online red coffee shops hidden within 5 minutes. In the morning, I got up and went downstairs to buy a latte. I walked two steps along the wutong Road, and even the wind was fragrant. If you want to have supper at night, take a turn to Dingxi Road Food Street, where you can find everything from pan fried buns to crayfish, without having to take a taxi and travel far to find food.
Even the details of self driving travel are so thoughtful that they are outrageous: in the core area of Jing'an, the exclusive parking lot for hotel guests only costs 40 yuan per day, which is not even enough to park for 3 hours in the surrounding business district. The taxi booth is right at the entrance. This time, I came to Jing'an, Shanghai to coordinate brand cooperation. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The layout of the room completely hits all the pain points of business travelers: a 1.2-meter-wide solid wood office area is reserved by the window, and network cable interfaces and multi specification fast charging sockets are all within reach, without having to squat on the ground and search for power strips. The ergonomic office chair provides ample support, and even after two nights of revising the collaboration plan until early morning, my waist didn't feel as sore as usual. Of course, as a well-established hotel, it does not have fancy intelligent delivery robots, and some public areas have a retro 2011 feel in their decoration. During rush hour, the elevator needs to wait an extra half minute.
